December 10, 2024 (Richmond, B.C.) – HME Home Health is thrilled to announce the launch of a new Commercial Division focusing on Hospital and Long-Term Care Commercial Sales.
“HME has long been a leader in the home health market and has well-established relationships for rehab products with hospitals and long-term care sites,” said Robert Boscacci, CEO & Co-Founder. ” With the launch of our new division, HME will now leverage our commercially licensed team by further expanding into accessibility and medical products in hospitals, long-term care, and other large-scale sites.”
Robert continued, “With HME’s 85,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space, 9 B.C. locations, over 130 staff, and available in stock inventory, HME is well suited to service this market, unlike existing competitors, who lack a large-scale B.C. footprint and staffing levels.”
Cameron Fleming, CIO & Co-Founder, noted, “HME’s new Commercial Division will focus on selling ceiling lifts, change tables, hospital beds, nesting chairs, and other similar commercial products.”
“HME’s size and scope allow us to offer a vast variety of unique product offerings at great prices and savings for our Commercial clientele,” said Fleming.
HME holds full class 1 and class 2 importer licensing from Health Canada and has a breadth of options available for prospective clients, as HME can offer products across a full spectrum of manufacturers.
HME’s COO, Michelle Harvey, noted, “Our new division will be led by Nathanael Kroeker, an industry expert in Commercial products who has over 10 years of experience and has recently re-joined the HME Team as our Commercial Manager.”
Michelle continued, “Nathanael will lead a team of specialized and certified technicians and customer support personnel as HME continues to diversify our company to meet the needs of an ever-growing healthcare landscape.
Starting from a single operation in B.C.’s Lower Mainland a decade ago, HME has expanded aggressively across the province in recent years and has nine locations and over 85,000 sq ft. of office and warehouse in Richmond, Victoria, Surrey, Nanaimo, North Vancouver, Kelowna, Sechelt and soon to open Abbotsford.
The company’s workforce is comprised of over 130 highly-trained professionals, technicians, and support staff.
HME Home Health offers a vast array of mobility and accessibility devices and medical equipment. Items include wheelchairs, power chairs, walkers, hospital beds, mattresses, other durable medical equipment, stairlifts, vertical platform lifts, ramps, and other installed products.
