September 25, 2025 (Richmond, B.C.) – HME is proud to announce the opening of its 11th location in British Columbia – the new HME Rental Centre in Richmond. This new facility will operate in addition to HME’s current two Richmond locations – the Corporate Head Office and Richmond Warehouse – and will serve as the central hub for all rental operations across the province.
As B.C.’s largest medical equipment rental company, HME provides over 2,500 rentals to new clients each month. The new Rental Centre will also house rental stairlifts and ramps, as well as HME’s growing loan programs.

Michelle Harvey, COO, added, “HME’s loan team, administration, and fulfillment will all be centralized out of this new location. HME started as a rental business in 2012 and has since become a leader in this space, servicing over 20 funders for rentals, as well as our fast-growing private rental business. As part of this expansion, HME will be launching a new HME E-Rental platform called ‘The Basic Rental Program’ allowing therapists to order rentals online.”

With the addition of the new HME Rental Centre, HME now operates 11 locations across the province, including three locations in Richmond, as well as additional locations in Victoria, Surrey, Nanaimo, North Vancouver, Kelowna, Sechelt, Abbotsford, and Kamloops.
HME offers clients a vast array of mobility and accessibility devices and medical equipment, including wheelchairs, power chairs, walkers, hospital beds, mattresses, stairlifts, vertical platform lifts, ramps, and other installed products.
