August 22, 2025 (Richmond, B.C.) – Western Canada’s two largest 100% Canadian-owned medical equipment providers held a successful 3-day manufacturer’s summit with the top 18 equipment manufacturers in Richmond. Building on the inaugural summit, which took place in August 2024 in Calgary, this year’s event expanded to include more manufacturers and focused on the unique Canadian approach and coverage.
“This year marks the second consecutive year for our annual joint meetings with Eco,” said Robert Boscacci, CEO and Co-Founder of HME. “As Canada’s largest independent, 100% Canadian-owned dealers, HME and Eco partner with our manufacturers on market events and training. These events see us partnering with our gold, silver, and bronze level manufacturers.”

“From across Canada, 18 manufacturers flew in to attend the summit, held this year in Richmond, to learn more about HME and Eco’s Canadian approach and coverage,” said Cameron Fleming, CIO and Co-Founder of HME. “The summit was capped off with a special Summit Social Event, which was attended by over 60 people and provided an opportunity for casual networking, which was terrific.”

attendance were excited to partner with Eco and HME on various initiatives. Our focus this year is to continue to grow our adult rehab, pediatric, and accessibility divisions.”
Starting from a single operation in B.C.’s Lower Mainland a decade ago, HME has expanded its client service coverage across the province in recent years. HME now has 10 locations and over 85,000 sq ft. of office and warehouse space in Richmond, Victoria, Surrey, Nanaimo, North Vancouver, Kelowna, Sechelt, Abbotsford, and Kamloops.
The company’s workforce is comprised of over 130 highly-trained professionals, technicians, and support staff.
