April 15, 2025 (RICHMOND, B.C.) – HME marked the one-year anniversary of its successful HME E-Store launch, which has seen over 2,500 client orders processed on the platform.
“HME is a leader in technology in the medical distribution space, being one of the first companies in Canada to offer online shopping for consumers in British Columbia and Alberta,” said Robert Boscacci, CEO and Co-Founder. “Our e-commerce results have been exceptional, with our team processing over 3,700 product invoices in just the past 12 months.”
“Our team has leveraged the online platform to assist clients and therapists across B.C. with the ability to add items to the online cart during live appointments with clients to ensure the most clinically appropriate items are chosen. They then can send the cart to the client’s family members anywhere in the world to help with processing the order,” Boscacci continued. “The feedback from clients and families has been exceptionally positive.”

“With the recent launch of the HME Contact Centre, we’ve been able to streamline our operations with our E-Commerce platform to provide accessible and multi-format communication options for our clients,” said Michelle Harvey, COO.
“We have the ability for clients to reach us in the accessible communication format that best suits their needs from phone, to live chat, to online accessible forms, we are better able to meet the needs of people living with different abilities,” Harvey, continued. “Additionally, we’ve been able to expand our communication options for our service partners with better outcomes.”
Starting from a single operation in B.C.’s Lower Mainland a decade ago, HME has expanded its client service coverage across the province in recent years.
