Step 1
Approach the resident, expand the chassis legs with the foot pedals located on the base of the equipment
The resident lifts their feet and places them on the base of the equipment
Resident grabs the bar
Lock foot breaks on each side

Instruct resident to stand and bring their abdomen to the bar
Nursing care staff to reach behind and flip the seat wings together and close
Instruct the resident to sit down
